Our Story.

Back in 2004, when Facebook was launched and Deb and Daniela were still rocking flip phones, they began working on their first major event together.

Standing at the registration desk buzzing with nervous excitement, hundreds of faces started to fill the room. They navigated the 1000-person agricultural conference with confidence leaving a trail of happy clients, attendees, and newfound friendships.

After the initial conference there were more events that they collaborated on. It wasn’t long before Deb and Daniela’s adventurous spirits called, leading them on separate international event career discoveries, in different parts of the globe.

Returning to New Zealand around the same time in 2017, fate intervened. The agricultural event they'd managed 15 years ago was returning and needed an event management company.

And so, HPCE was born, not from some sterile boardroom but from the shared laughter and dreams of two friends. 

With over 275 events delivered, Deb and Daniela’s passion burns brighter than ever. It's in the laughter at a welcome reception and the bright lights of awards nights. The rewards are endless.

Our purpose today is the same as it was in 2004 - To elevate the way events and conferences are approached in New Zealand.

  • Managing Director

    Deb has over 20 years of experience in the business events industry both in New Zealand and overseas. She has a passion for innovative events, connecting people and seeing your events come to life.

    Navigating the intricate landscape of corporate, not-for-profit, association and incentive events, has armed Deb with the knowledge and expertise needed to deliver and make your event a success. Every event has specific goals and KPI’s, so the experience you receive with HPCE is tailored to your unique requirements.

    Building a great connection with you and your organising committee is the foundation to a successful event. Our clients begin the event management process as clients and leave as friends.

    Maintaining strong supplier relationships, project planning and leading the business and team keeps Deb busy day-to-day.

    Outside of the events world, Deb has two beautiful daughters - Ariana and Kaia. She loves intrepid travel, horse riding and playing the piano.


  • General Manager

    As an experienced and dedicated event manager, Daniela has a passion for turning simple ideas into unforgettable experiences. With over 20 years' experience in Event Management in both New Zealand and overseas, she has successfully organised a wide array of events ranging from corporate conferences and gala dinners to tradeshows and activations.

    Daniela’s approach to event management is characterised by her meticulous attention to detail, seamless organisation and a commitment to client satisfaction. From conceptualisation to execution, Daniela works closely with you to understand your objectives, desires and budget to ensure that every aspect of the event aligns perfectly with your vision.

    Daniela lives in Rotorua with her husband Mike and two children Millie and Charlie. She loves exploring the world and boating on beautiful Lake Tarawera with family and friends.

  • Event Manager

    With over 10+ years in the events industry Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that spans various sectors of event management. Having successfully managed events of varying scales, from intimate gatherings to large scale conferences and corporate events Vanessa loves a challenge especially when it comes to those out of the box event ideas!

    Vanessa is passionate about creating memorable client experiences all while having fun along the way!  With a client-centric approach Vanessa takes the time to truly listen and understand your event needs and aspirations and will work with you on the event journey to deliver an exceptional experience every time.

    Vanessa loves the outdoors and is never one to shy away from an adventure.  She enjoys music and sitting down for a good meal with friends and family.  Vanessa lives in Tauranga with her husband Liam and daughter Skylar.

  • Marketing & Brand Specialist

    Natalie is our in-house Marketing Specialist and Brand guru. You will find her behind all our brand and marketing campaigns, managing our social media platforms and transforming our website.

    She has a diverse background from biomedical science through to operational management which brings a new perspective, detail orientation and a process driven approach to the business. Marketing is in her blood, and she has a real passion for data, digital transformation and customer experience.

    When she’s not working, you will find her travelling the world and experiencing new things. She loves being creative, spending time with family and friends and keeping fit and active. Natalie is married to Chris and has two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Amelia.
